Kit ‘N Kaboodle

Purina has a reputation for making the usual run of the mill food. Nothing really of a shock when looking at this cat food which they have produced and nothing much can be expected as it is a budget end cat food.  Very basic and full of fillers from the word go.

The bulk of this product being the first 3 ingredients are nothing but filler. There is very little nutritional value in the product. the have added the usual meat and bone additives which is supposed to be good and brewers yeast to end it off with.

Now like everything else there is a market for it as it would fit most peoples budgets but you have to look at adding another food to this from time to time. I have always advocated a mixture of 80/20 where 80% is the budget end food such as Kit ‘n Kaboodle and make sure that 20% is a much better cat food such as Innova Evo, Fromm Surf and Turf or if you are on a very tight budget Authority Adult which you can buy online to supplement your animals diet.

Clearly, nobody can give their cat this food without at least giving the animal a proper meal once a week. This is like kids having hamburgers every single day.

What’s good about this food

Well, it is cheap and even if it has a trace of a fish meal it would be best to buy another meal with this to at least supplement your cats food once a week.
