Taste of the Wild is rather difficult to find. This the cat food as we have already spoken very highly of their dog food called Taste of the Wild (High Prairie) which is an excellent grain-free dog food. The concept is the same as that for their dog food. Give animals what they would eat in the wild.
This is excellent cat food with a chicken meal right at the top of the list. Nothing starts a diet with a good quality source of animal protein. They have added in small amount 2 other animal protein sources being smoked salmon and also venison.
The carbohydrates come from potato and they have also added a large number of peas into the cat food. chicken fat has also been added and a mixture of blueberries, raspberries, and tomatoes. What most do not see is that they also added in pro-biotics to give your cat a better stomach flora. This becomes common in high-end cat and dog foods. There is also a multivitamin added to boot.
Probiotics, good sources of animal protein and all of this comes at a very reasonable price to the consumer. There are no cheap by-products in this food or fillers. It’s a five-star meal for any cat.
